MEET THE DIRECTORS
Liz Stillerman | Artistic Director
Liz began her training in Covington, Georgia with the Covington Regional Ballet. Upon graduation from high school, Liz attended Elon University where she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. In 2012, Liz spent six months in Jerusalem, Israel where she performed works by Barack Marshall, Jacopo Godani, and Crystal Pite, as well as studied with the Jerusalem Academy Dance Ensemble. As a student, Liz studied with the Atlanta Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theatre, and the Joffrey Ballet. She also received scholarships to study dance with the Georgia Governor’s Honors program and Visceral Dance Centre. Professionally, Liz has performed with TerraNOVA Dance Theatre, Chicago Repertory Ballet, the Chicago Civic Ballet, and Elements Ballet. Currently Liz is a company member with Atlanta based company Kit Modus. Liz has presented choreographic works in both Chicago & North Carolina, and she is excited to begin working with the Covington Regional Ballet! Josh Schadl | Director of CRB School & Ballet Master
In his affiliation with the Covington Regional Ballet (CRB), Joshua S. Schadl has appeared in lead roles in every company production since 2016. He is honored to have been appointed in 2019 as Ballet Master and Director of the Covington Regional Ballet School. In this role, Josh is responsible for the ballet curriculum of the school in addition to supporting the Artistic Director with conception, design and execution of CRB’s dance productions. In a partnership with Atlanta Ballet, Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance from Kennesaw State University. While studying at Kennesaw, he won top national titles at the American College Dance Festival for performances in both 2012 and 2014 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. A native of Atlanta, Josh initiated his dance training at the age of 10 at the Conservatory of Dance and Fine Arts. At 14, under the direction of Armando Luna, he began an association with Atlanta Ballet where he graduated from the Pre-Professional Division as a classically trained dancer. Josh furthered his training under instruction from Momchil Mladenov, Ivan Pulinkala, and Reiko Kimura. He also studied in Taipei, Taiwan at the National Taiwan University of the Arts. Josh has performed with The Georgia Ballet, Ballethnic, Ballet Mississippi, Tampa Bay Dance Theatre, the Madison Studio, and Atlanta Ballet. An experienced choreographer as well as professional dancer, Josh teaches at four dance schools in the metropolitan area.
