Monique started dancing at age three at Decatur School of Ballet and hasn’t stopped since! She attended Brenau University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and English. Her previous dance credits include AboutFace contemporary jazz company, the Brenau Dance Ensemble, various Brenau University productions, and performances in the southern regional American College Dance Festival. Monique has trained in the Limon, Cunningham and Horton techniques and she has performed in works by Melanie Lynch Blanchard, Lonnie Davis, Vincas Greene, Jolie Long, and Cynthia Bond Perry. Her travels after college took her to Washington, D.C., Florida and Indonesia to explore politics, international service and human connections. Monique currently teaches dance all over the metro Atlanta area and performs with ModCo and Little Minute Atl. She is delighted to join the Covington Regional Ballet faculty.
