CLUE THE BALLET
2027 AUDitions
We are excited to invite dancers 5 years (dancers must turn 5 by September 2026) and up to audition for our 2027 spring ballet, Clue! The production will take place April 23rd, 24th, and 25th at Porter Performing Arts Center
The audition sign up form opens to currently enrolled CRB students on November 15th and will be sent via email. If space is available, the audition sign up will open to non-CRB students on December 15th here on our website.
Current Apprentice, Junior 1, Junior 2, and Senior CRB Company dancers do not need to register, but should simply show up at their assigned time.

What should I expect at the audition?
The audition will begin with a barre or center warm up. Additionally, dancers will learn 1-2 phrases of movement and showcase their ability to retain and perform the choreography. Dancers should wear a leotard, tights, and ballet shoes to the audition with hair pulled back away from the face.
When will rehearsals take place?
Rehearsals for public cast (non-company) will primarily take place on Saturdays from 12:00-5:00pm mid-February - April.
Lastly, theater week rehearsals will take place April 17th - 22nd in the afternoon/evenings.
What is the cost of participating?
The Public Cast (Non-CRB company member) fee is $150 and must be paid by April 1, 2027. The fee covers the cost involved for costumes, instruction, staff, etc. Additionally, all audience members (including parents of cast members) must purchase tickets to the performances. Please note, the cost of tickets will increase the week of the show.
